Ziqi Zhou is an Early stage researcher within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie ITN project “WinGrid”, who is under the supervision of Prof. Marco Liserre in the Chair of Power Electronics at Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel (Germany).

He is working on finding effective and economic solutions to damp the sub-synchronous resonance, as well as provide guidelines on the best choice of technology such as advanced control techniques to be implemented in wind turbine converters and extra hardware systems, e.g., flexible alternating current transmission systems (FACTS) and high-voltage direct-current (HVDC) converters. he obtained Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from China University of Mining and Technology and Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, in the year 2020 and 2016, respectively.
