He is currently working on the assessment of hydrostatic transmission-based wind farms for power grids. He has previously worked as a protection and control engineer for generation, transmission, and distribution system networks. His research interests include modeling, analysis, and control of power systems. He received a diploma in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cuenca (Ecuador) in 2013 and completed his MASc in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo (Canada) in 2019.
